Meet Dr. Ramirez
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Victoria Ramirez was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. She attended Texas A&M International University, where she played volleyball and served as the president of the Pre-Dental Society. Dr. Ramirez earned her dental degree from The University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Dr. Ramirez’s passion for children, learning, and providing the best care for her patients propelled her to attend a pediatric dental residency. Dr. Ramirez then practiced for five years as a general dentist in a pediatric dental practice before joining our team.
Meet Dr. Mohammed
Board Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Abdullah Asser Mohammed is a Saudi native with a unique
family background, being the fourth generation to enter the
dental field, following in his father's grandfather's footsteps. He
graduated from Riyadh Elm University with a Bachelor's Degree in
Dental Medicine & Surgery, achieving Second Class Honors.
His personal journey significantly shaped his career path. A
childhood experience with severe dental crowding, which
made him self-conscious and reluctant to smile, instilled in
him a deep understanding of the impact of a confident smile.
Undergoing orthodontic treatment with his father
transformed his confidence and inspired him to pursue
orthodontics, not just as a career, but as a means to provide
others with the same life-changing experience.
Beyond his professional life, Dr. Mohammed is passionate
about fitness and the outdoors. He has been consistently
engaged in bodybuilding for several years. His hobbies also
include outdoor activities such as fishing and hiking, and he
actively participates in various sports, including pickleball,
soccer, and e-sports. He believes that patience and hard work
are key to achieving his goals and excelling in his chosen field,
which he sees as a journey of "climbing this mountain”.
Meet Dr. Pina
Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Diana “Carol” Pina Originally from Bryan/College Station, has called San Antonio home for over twenty years. Before embarking on her career in dentistry, she shared her love of learning as a high school English teacher.
A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Pina earned her dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She further specialized through residencies in Advanced Education General Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry at the UTHSCSA program in Laredo. Today, she is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist with extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating oral ties.
Dr. Pina is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care tailored to the unique needs of every child. Outside the office, she and her husband are kept busy by their three children. She enjoys cooking, exercising, and staying active in her church’s music program.

Meet Dr. Rakian
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Rubie Rakian is a native of San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she relocated to Miami, Florida, where she obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami. She subsequently returned to San Antonio and was accepted into the combined Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program at The University of Texas Health Science Center on a full scholarship. She earned both degrees with Distinction in Dental Education and Distinction in Research. Following graduation, Dr. Rakian completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at The Forsyth Institute, a Harvard School of Dental Medicine affiliate in Boston, Massachusetts. Shortly thereafter, she completed advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where she received focused clinical and didactic training in the comprehensive oral health care of infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.
Dr. Rakian’s academic achievements include numerous honors and awards, including the NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (F30), multiple American Association for Dental Research fellowships, travel awards, as well as peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international scientific conferences.
Dr. Rakian considers it a privilege to serve her community and help children establish healthy dental habits that last a lifetime. Her approach to patient care is centered on empathy, respect, and building trusting relationships with children and their families.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Rakian enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and learning about different cultures. She has a deep appreciation for animals and wildlife and enjoys opportunities to connect with nature. Dr. Rakian is committed to lifelong learning and strives to provide the highest quality, evidence-based care while creating positive dental experiences for every child she treats.
